FIPT Website launched

The FIPT Website was launched on 26 January 2023 for the benefit of Indian Pentecostal Scholars.

The main objectives of this website is to:

• Cultivate fellowship among Pentecostal theologians in India and other parts of the world (1 Thess 5:11)
• Facilitate content curation of appropriate resources
• Promote Indian Pentecostal scholarship by identifying, encouraging, and publishing the work of Pentecostals (Jer. 30:2)
• Organize multi-dimensional seminars and conferences for:
  (a) Engaging FIPT members
  (b) Equipping pastors, leaders, and interested and theologically informed lay people
  (c) Encouraging grassroots theology
• Empower FIPT members to make theological and missional contributions and to mentor younger Pentecostal scholars who will continue FIPT’s vision and objectives (2 Tim 2:2)
• Facilitate theological and practical engagement among churches, institutes, and society
• Initiate healthy conversations between churches and theologians to build unity among Indian Pentecostals (John 17:21; Phil 2:1-3)
• Provide prayerful and practical advice and recommendations to churches on theological matters and support their evangelistic, teaching and research activities to fulfil the great commission (Matt 28:19-20)
• Assist in, direct, and review the planning, coordination, development and validation of curriculum for Pentecostal theological institutions
• Advocate the Pentecostal worldview and experience with a view to shaping Spirit-filled and Christlike communities.
